UNESCO and UNITWIN Conference Hosted by Tunisia on Academic Collaboration

Tunisia is set to host the annual meeting of UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN (University Twinning and Networking) nodes in partnership with the Arab Institute for Human Rights. This significant event, scheduled for November 7-8, 2023, at the Hotel El Mouradi Lac Tunis, will see participation from over 150 delegates representing universities across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.

The conference aims to foster collaboration among academic institutions in fields such as cultural heritage management, sustainable development, human rights, education for sustainable development, gender equality, peace-building, social cohesion, and ethics. It will also focus on strengthening the ties between academia and civil society organizations.
