Weather Update for UAE: Expect a Mix of Cloudiness and Light Rain with Cooler Nights

The weather in Dubai is set to change as cloudy to partly cloudy conditions dominate the skyline. Recent light rain showers have been observed over Owtaid and the Al Dhafra region, while moderate rainfall was noted in Al Sout, Abu Dhabi during the afternoon. This shift follows earlier showers that affected Bu Hasa, Madinat Zayed, and Yaw Al Nadhrah.

Temperatures are cooling down, with Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah recording a low of 12°C overnight. The National Centre of Meteorology advises residents to prepare for rising humidity levels at night, which may lead to mist or fog formation inland.

Weekly Weather Overview:

  • Wednesday (19th February): Expect fair to partly cloudy skies as temperatures continue to drop, with humidity returning overnight. Winds will reach up to 35 km/h. Mariners should be aware of rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf and moderate waves in the Oman Sea.
  • Thursday (20th February): The weather pattern continues with fair to partly cloudy conditions. Humidity will persist into the evening, while winds shift from the Northeast to Southeast at speeds of 30 km/h. Both seas are expected to be calm.
  • Friday (21st February): Coastal and northern areas can look forward to fair, partly cloudy skies. As night falls, humidity levels rise with a chance of mist by Saturday morning. Winds will remain light from the Northeast to Southeast at up to 30 km/h.
