The investigating judge at the Tunis Court of First Instance has decided to keep rapper Samara in detention under a warrant issued against him. This decision follows a judicial confrontation today, Tuesday, between him and a second suspect in a case implicating allegations of involvement in a drug trafficking network.

Last week, the investigating judge issued a detention warrant against the rapper as part of an ongoing inquiry into a drug trafficking network operating between the Ibn Khaldun Avenue and the port of Tunis. Samara has been accused of possessing 500 grams of cannabis resin, which is considered a serious offense in Tunisia.
