The National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA) of Oman, under the leadership of its Chairman Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Dhoyani, entered into this executive programme alongside Arun Singhal, the Director General of the National Archives of India. This initiative marks a commitment to bolstering ties between the two nations through shared historical and documentary expertise.

The agreement encompasses several key areas designed to foster collaboration in the preservation and dissemination of knowledge:
