Mali's PM Applauds Egypt's Unwavering Support in Tackling Terrorism

In a significant gesture of solidarity, Mali's Prime Minister Abdoulaye Maïga recently praised Egypt for its unwavering support in the fight against terrorism. This commendation came during a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Mali, Mohamed el Gammal.

Maïga expressed Mali's keen interest in emulating Egypt's successful strategies in combating terror. He emphasized that Mali is eager to enhance cooperation across various sectors including security, energy, health, and culture. The Prime Minister also acknowledged the valuable training courses and capability-building programs offered by Egypt, which have significantly contributed to strengthening Mali's institutional framework.

Ambassador Gammal highlighted the deep-rooted historical ties between Egypt and Mali. He underscored both nations' commitment to fostering security and stability while promoting developmental initiatives and economic cooperation. El Gammal assured continued Egyptian support tailored to address Mali's current challenges.
