The event was marked by traditional Kuwaiti hospitality, featuring foods like tharid and gahwa (traditional coffee), symbolizing unity through shared meals before iftar.
Local musical groups such as 'Al-Malaf' and 'Nass' performed, while various embassies showcased cultural displays. Notably, the Indonesian Ambassador Lena Maryana appreciated this initiative, highlighting its role in facilitating cross-cultural understanding despite many diplomats experiencing Yom Al-Ghra for the first time. Thailand’s Ambassador Ekapol Poolpipat praised it as a form of cultural diplomacy that connects attendees with Kuwaiti culture, emphasizing the dynamic nature of Ramadan celebrations in Kuwait including diwaniyas (social gatherings) and iftars.
Tajikistan’s Ambassador Zubaydullo Zubaydov also attended, expressing gratitude for witnessing Kuwaiti traditions and extending greetings to Kuwaiti leadership. Overall, Yom Al-Ghra served as a platform for cultural exchange and diplomacy, promoting international friendship.
