Enhancing Traveler Safety and Convenience

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health, led by Minister Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadi, has inaugurated a new medical clinic at Jazeera Airways Terminal 5 (T5). This initiative is part of a broader effort to extend healthcare services across major terminals within the airport, aiming to improve service delivery for travelers.

Comprehensive 24/7 Medical Services

The clinic operates continuously and provides a full range of medical services for emergency situations. It is staffed by experienced healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, and health inspectors who are ready to address any medical needs that arise during travel.

Focus on Preventive Health Measures

Dr. Munther Al-Hasawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs at the Ministry, emphasized in a recent press statement that these clinics play a crucial role in preventive health measures. This includes conducting medical screenings of travelers from specific regions to help prevent disease outbreaks within Kuwait.

Better Traveler Experience

With new clinics now available across terminals T1-T4 and T5, passengers experience enhanced comfort and safety. Dr. Al-Hasawi noted that this initiative is a testament to the Ministry’s commitment to improving healthcare standards at airports in line with health development goals.

Minister's Inspection for Health Security

In an effort to ensure readiness and quality of service, the Minister of Health conducted inspections at Kuwait Airport Health Center and medical clinics within passenger terminals. This was part of a broader strategy to bolster a robust preventive health system and ensure optimal health security with quick response capabilities.
