In a significant gesture of goodwill and solidarity, King Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has greenlit an ambitious initiative—the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift for Dates Distribution Program. Scheduled during the holy month of Ramadan this year, Saudi Arabia is set to distribute 700 tons of dates across 102 countries worldwide. This marked increase from last year's distribution by 200 tons underscores a continued commitment to support Muslim communities globally as they observe Ramadan.
Managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, this program exemplifies the Kingdom's dedication to promoting peace, understanding, and shared religious values. Minister Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh expressed deep gratitude towards King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support of Muslims around the world during this sacred period.
The ministry has meticulously coordinated with religious attachés in Saudi embassies, Islamic centers, and numerous organizations worldwide to ensure a seamless logistical operation. This effort not only reflects the Kingdom's dedication to fostering international goodwill but also its fight against extremism and promoting harmony among different faiths and cultures.
This gesture of generosity from Saudi Arabia is a beacon of hope and unity for Muslims during Ramadan, highlighting the importance of community support, shared values, and global peace initiatives.
