Japan-Kuwait Diplomatic Event Highlights Cultural and Economic Bonds

The Ambassador’s Residence hosted a reception featuring traditional Japanese cuisine by the ambassador's chef, showcasing specialties like sushi and products from Ishikawa Prefecture.

The event also emphasized cultural promotion, including displays of Japanese tea ceremonies and pop culture elements like anime figures from 'Attack on Titan,' demonstrating Japan's significant cultural influence in Kuwait. Ambassador Kenichiro encouraged Kuwaiti engagement with the upcoming Kansai-Osaka Expo on April 13, 2025. The expo aims to highlight Japanese technologies and enhance economic collaboration through direct investments, presenting Japan as an attractive market for investors.

Emphasizing sustainability, the exposition venue will use hydrogen clean energy systems and concrete that reduces CO2 emissions, reflecting Japan's dedication to sustainable development.
