Hamas Hands Over 3 Israeli Hostages to ICRC in Central Gaza Strip

In a significant development, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has handed over three Israeli hostages to the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza. The hostages, Eli Sharabi, Ohad Ben Ami, and Or Levy, were held captive since October 7, 2023, as part of the fifth batch of phase one of the ceasefire agreement and exchange of prisoners. According to reports, Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian detainees on Saturday as part of the fifth batch of Palestinian detainees to be freed under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
