Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has reiterated Egypt's unwavering commitment to the full implementation of the ceasefire currently in effect in Gaza, including the prisoner-captive swap.

During the Cabinet's weekly meeting on Wednesday, Madbouly emphasized Egypt's efforts to provide humanitarian support to the Gaza Strip, as 130 aid trucks moved from the Egyptian side through the Rafah land crossing towards the Strip. Egypt has also admitted dozens of injured Palestinians and their companions through the Rafah crossing since the beginning of February.

Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stated that Egypt has received about 103,400 Palestinians for treatment since the outbreak of the Gaza war, including 113 since February 1. The ongoing conflict in Gaza has led to a massive displacement of Palestinians, with over half a million people forced to flee their homes in recent weeks.
