In a remarkable year-long effort, the Anti-Human Trafficking Directorate of Bahrain’s General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has made significant strides in tackling human trafficking. Over the past twelve months, they have successfully cracked 22 human trafficking cases and arrested 50 suspects involved in these heinous activities.

Between January 2024 and January 2025, authorities not only apprehended those responsible but also provided crucial assistance to 41 victims of trafficking.
